Georgina Harris is a first-year Master of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Greenwich with a strong background in fine art, having graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art and built a successful career as a professional artist and workshop facilitator.

 Her artistic practice explores the relationship between people, landscape, nature and culture, and has included award-winning work, artist residencies and collaborative projects with educational and cultural organisations.

 Georgina  demonstrated a longstanding interest in gardens as cultural landscapes and highlighted  how her artistic research has examined the influence of landscapes on human perceptions of nature.

 She applied for the Garden Museum horticultural traineeship because she recognised the importance of horticultural knowledge in landscape architecture and wished to develop practical plant knowledge, maintenance skills and a deeper understanding of garden stewardship.
