Chloé Deparis is currently a Master of Landscape Architecture (Conversion) student at the University of Greenwich who is making a career transition from sustainability and energy transition consulting into landscape architecture.

She brings over five years of professional experience in research, consultancy and project management, having worked with LCP Delta in London and Sevea in Cambodia on projects related to renewable energy, sustainable development, agriculture and environmental policy.

Her academic background is multidisciplinary, combining landscape architecture, urban governance, mathematics and political science, supported by international study experience in France, the UK and Japan.

Through her application, she demonstrates a strong commitment to developing practical horticultural knowledge, recognising that a deep understanding of plants is essential to becoming a successful and ecologically informed landscape architect.

She is particularly attracted to the Dilip Lakhani Scholarship because it offers hands-on experience, opportunities to learn from skilled gardeners, and the chance to better understand plant care, biodiversity and place-based landscape management.
